His new project, Freeheat, is set to release their debut album, Back on the Water, on June 6th, via Planting Seeds. This album contains both studio and live recordings, and if the first single "Down" (penned by Ben Lurie, also a JaMC alum) is any indication, then this record's going to be an amazing return to form. Personally, I can't wait to hear it.
